Macaroon Recipe:

Instructions:

2. In a large bowl, combine the ground almonds, sugar, egg whites, and vanilla extract. Mix well to combine.
3. Using a spoon or your hands, form the dough into small discs. Place the discs on the prepared baking sheet.
4. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the macaroons are golden brown.
5. Allow to cool completely before dipping in chocolate or coating with fondant. Enjoy!
Fillings for macaroon?

Chocolate ganache:
Ingredients:
1 cup heavy cream
8 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
Instructions:
1.Place the chopped chocolate in a heat-proof bowl.
2.In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream until it comes to a boil. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let sit for 1-2 minutes.
3.Stir the mixture until it is smooth and combined. Allow to cool slightly before using as a filling for your macaroons.
Fruit jam:
Ingredients:
1 cup fruit of your choice (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, etc.)
½ cup sugar
Instructions:
1.In a small saucepan, combine the fruit and sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the fruit is broken down and the mixture is thickened.
2.Remove from heat and let cool completely before using as a filling for your macaroons.
Buttercream frosting:
Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
3 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
1.In the bowl of a stand mixer, cream the butter on medium speed until it is light and fluffy. Slowly add in the powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time, until it is all incorporated. Mix in the vanilla extract.
2.Increase the speed to high and mix until the frosting is light and fluffy. Use immediately or store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
Flavouring Macaroons:
